Dwight Howard Is Lost

A very interesting youtube video posted shows Dwight Howard talking and joking with fans during the 4th quarter of game 2. You would hope that your best player is interested in the task at hand (The Celtics) and not the fans behind the basket. It seems like he had no care in the world. Rashard Lewis had to pull him onto the court to be ready for the Celtics inbounds play. Do you think Kevin Garnett would lack this focus? He would probably be screaming at somebody on the court to cover his man better.

Although Howard had a great game against the C's in game 2, this little clip here might show the greatest difference between Orlando and Boston: Focus.

NBA Player Of The Week Award Is Lame

Kevin Garnett was the NBA Player of the Week for last week. His numbers look as followed:

Dec. 1 @ Charlotte: 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a 108-90 win over the Bobcats.

Dec. 3 @ San Antonio: 20 points to go along with seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in a 90-83 win over the Spurs.

Dec. 4 @ Oklahoma City: 23 points, eight rebounds and three assists in a 105-87 win over the Thunder.

These number sure would have helped the Celts in last year's playoff effort.

Kevin Garnett With A Buzzer Beater, Knicks Blow

The Knicks should have picked up Allen Iverson. They still would have lost this game, but at least there would be some sort of excitement. That being said, another ho-hum buzzer beater, this time by Kevin Garnett. Have you ever seen a team celebrate less than the C's celebrated when KG hit the shot? I mean, come on. I celebrate more when I hit treys in my backyard.

It is almost as if Boston was pissed to even be in a ballgame with New York, thus why celebrate when you probably should have pounded them by 25. If you are a Knicks fan, it probably kills you to see KG hit the game winner. If Ray Allen hits it, you just shrug it off. When KG gets a wide open look from the top of the key, well that has to hurt. haha. Go Allen Iverson.
