No Suspension For Cooke

You gotta be kidding me. How is it, that Matt Fucking Cooke who has already been served two suspensions in his career, does not receive another for his blatant cheap shot on Marc Savard? Had it been Sidney Crosby that was lying unconscious on the ice and knocked out for the season we might have seen some action taken by the league. But instead, Cooke is allowed to play which says to me that the NHL thinks this was a perfectly legal hit.

So let's recap the past few months, shall we? In April Milan Lucic was suspended for Game 3 against the Montreal Canadiens for this hit on Maxim Lapierre. At the time I thought this was a questionable suspension. A few weeks later the NHL decides that Scott Walker will not be suspended when he sucker punches Aaron Ward. And now Colin Campbell has elected not to suspend Matt Cooke for nearly decapitating Marc Savard.
