Guy In The Balcony's View From the Balcony

Man do the Bruins suck. I got to witness their pathetic effort last night against the Leafs in person. Here are few thoughts from the game:

- Dennis Wideman looked worse then he usually does. He mishandled the puck on two separate occasions that led to Toronto breakaways. The Leafs had four breakaways throughout the game.

- Tim Thomas stole the show. He played great. He robbed Kessel on a few attempts and stopped all four of Toronto's breakaways and three shootout attempts. He officially made this a goal tending competition again.

- Milan Lucic is a shell of his former self. He just isn't physical anymore. He did get into a fight but other then you wouldn't have known he even played in the game.

- Dennis Seidenberg made his Bruins debut last night. For the most part he was reliable at his position and didn't too much good or too much bad. He will probably be a 3rd or 4th defensemen on this team.

- Funniest moment of the night: I'm leaving North Station and heading to the Orange Line when an ambulance with its lights and sirens on came through and forced it way's through the crowd. As the ambulance slowly makes it way through the crowd started chanting "Kessel! Kessel! Kessel!"
