Can We Trade Nate Robinson For Bill Walker?

Danny,

Did you misevaluate your talent again? Did you misunderstand Bill Walker's value? Yes, I have been impressed with Nate Robinson so far. But, I take a look at the Knicks box score and I see both of the players we traded, are blowing up. You said Walker wasn't going to get any minutes with the Celtics, but now that he is getting minutes with the Knickerbockers, his numbers are off the charts. Same goes with E.House. I just want to know why we never, ever, ever saw Walker? Did you not ever notice he was this good? Did you see in practice that he is a consistent scorer?

For the NYK, Walker has gone off for 21 and 22 points in consecutive games. Last night against Detroit, BW logged 36 minutes, scored 22 on 9-13 shooting, and had 3 assists. On March 1st, at CLEVELAND (the toughest arena to play in) Walker put up 21 points on 9-14 shooting and snared 5 boards. Is there something you missed here, Danny? A guy that can put the ball in the hoop on a consistent basis. A scorer, aside from Paul Pierce, that the Celtics have been missing all season. To make matters worse, E. House has put up over 15 points in two of his last three games.

In conclusion, I am very pleased with Nate Robinson. I am very happy to swap House for Robinson. It will irk me, however, if we threw in Walker to sweeten the pot, and he ends up scoring 15 per night over the course of his career. Only time will tell if this was a good trade, but so far it looks like the Celtics picked up one quality player, and the Knicks two.

Best,
Middle Man Mike
