The Bruins lost their 8th consecutive game last night, their worst losing streak since the 1950's. The part that sucks the most is they actually outplayed Washington last night. The Bruins didn't look out of place against the fast-paced Capitals. Too bad Tim Thomas let in two softies in the third. This losing streak has seen the Bruins fall from 5th in the conference to 12th.
Other Bruins news that surfaced yesterday is the injury to Zdeno Chara. He tore the ligaments in a finger during a November 20th game in Buffalo. According to ESPN, "the finger is still off line, especially when he closes his hand, and discolored. Without the splint, he keeps the pinkie taped to his ring finger."
