According to the NY Daily News, the Sox are going after
Hanley Ramirez. It has not been reported on who they plan to throw into the deal. I believe you will start with Clay Buchholz and Daniel Bard and work from there. It would be a big time trade. Apparently, the Sox have also asked about Stephen Drew. Not another DREW!

I agree, they will definitely have to throw in some prospects to get Hanley. Sort of like when they traded for Josh Beckett and had to throw in Hanley Ramirez. Fuck! So who do you think the Sox will have to give up to get back Daniel Bard in two years when they have no closer?
Good point MFTC. Good thing closers grow on trees.
There is almost no way the Sox get Hanley. The only way it happens is if the Marlins give him up because they are positive they cannot sign him (I don't know his contract status.) Sox should give up Bard or Buckholtz they would be foolish to give up both. I would prefer the closer, they are much more replaceable.
I may get killed on this one but I'm not in love with Bucholtz like a lot of people are. He doesn't have a great frame to pitch 200+ innings, I can easily see him being one of those guys who is always missing starts because of a tired arm. Hanley is a stud and will easily make the Sox a competitor for next season.
I would trade Buchh and Bard in a heartbeat for Hanley. Suck it nerds.
